Spring Gray Bear Retreat
April 30 - May 2
Leah Bray Nichols leads this Spring weekend yoga retreat at the beautiful Gray Bear Lodge. Our weekend blends the enjoyment of yoga with quality time spent in nature.
Leah's teaching infuses the study of life and yoga philosophy into the asanas. Each class is carefully crafted to help you bring your awareness from the dynamic external (physical) body to an internal experience of calm reflection. The intention is to integrate strength, will, receptivity and relaxation with the progression of each asana sequence.
Retreat tuition includes four yoga classes, shared lodging, all meals and full use of facilities for the weekend including wood-fired sauna and hot tub. Additionally, massage and bodywork appointments are offered for an additional charge. There may be a few private cabins available for an extra charge.

"Leah has the ability to communicate the nuances of the asanas and the philosophy of Patanjali's teaching which has infuses my life with vitality, tranquility, and mental stability. Gray Bear is a beautiful place for the yogis to come together in loving fellowship. It is truly a restorative retreat." - Diane L.
"Even though there were people of all different levels in each class, you did a good job of staying focused on all of us, and using the wonderful atmosphere and abundant good energy to make your classes flow. My clearest memory is of being in viparita karani and feeling the gentle breeze through the window, and hearing the birds sing. It was magical. Of course, I also loved the mud facials, swimming in the waterfall, the sauna, the mud hut I stayed in ... ahhh. Can't wait to go back!" - Leanne K.
"Leah's classes at Evergreen Yoga = $$. Yoga Retreat at Gray Bear Lodge = $$$. Yoga with Leah at Gray Bear Lodge = PRICELESS" - Ann B.

LIGHT ON LIFE: The Yoga Journey to Wholeness, Inner Peace, and Ultimate Freedom
By BKS Iyengar
Your yoga practice can bring insight and a sense of well-being that extend off the mat and into your life.
This book conveys Mr. Iyengar's discoveries from a lifetime of intensive yoga practice and teaching. Using humor, stories from his own life and examples from modern culture to illustrate the profound gifts that yoga offers, he addresses the goal of aligning the different aspects of the self. The book clearly investigates the role that yoga postures and breathing techniques play in our search for wholeness and the external and internal obstacles that keep us from progressing along the path.
Mr. Iyengar writes about the inner-workings of yoga, and does so in an accessible style.
Find out how yoga can help us live in harmony with the world around us.
Our next reading will focus on Chapter 5.
Copies of the book will be available at Evergreen Yoga Center, online at amazon.com and at local bookstores.
Saturday, March 6, 4:30 to 6pm (no charge)
